A formed wire is a type of wire that has been formed through a process known as wire forming. The method is to apply force to change the contour of a wire using various techniques. They all remain characteristic in imparting a specific type to a formed type. Chamfering, swaging, shearing, piercing, and other methods are examples of these techniques. What is Formed Wire
